What a crazy year 2009 has been? This will definitely be a year that will not be forgotten any time soon. With only a few days left, many just can’t wait for it to be over (myself included). I am looking forward to a exciting new year that I hope will be filled with unimaginable hard work and many milestones. I know some of you are looking forward to recovery and getting back to a “normal” life. With all that has happened with the recession, I think this is a chance for many of us to start anew.
Many people were forced to learn some new skills in a hurry, such a financial management, incorporating some degree of frugality in their lives, and how to live on super tight budgets. Now that is seem as if the economy might bounce back, will you continue practicing what you have learned in 2010? Will you continue to be frugal? Will you still work as hard to max out your 401K? I know tight situations got some of us here, but now that you have learned how to be debt free, will you still strive for it?
I have became friends with a few people on online that had started on the road to financial freedom early in the year and are almost there. When I pose these questions to them, I got a resounding “HELL YES.” One of them said in an email “This has been the happiest my family and I has been in years. My husband and I argue much less and my family on a whole have much more fun on a lot less.” She said “2010 will be even better, we have plans to start investing for the first time, and start an online business.” I wish her well!
Will 2010 be the year you start on the road to achieving your dreams or the year you complete it? As a blogger I can tell you that all we (Bloggers) can do is provide the information for you to use and hope you use it. Well I wish you all well for the new year and hope to see many dreams come through in the coming year.
